Churchill, Manitoba, Canada is a remote community on the Hudson Bay. It's so remote you can't drive to it. There are about 50 miles of local roads, but the nearest land access is a 300-mile train ride on the Muskeg Express. A former military air base also serves the Churchill community.

There are no billboards, no chain restaurants or hotels, no stoplights and no freeways in Churchill. Just quiet nights, clean air and a place on the edge of town known as the Lazy Bear Lodge. It's also the home of the world-famous Churchill polar bears.

During your stay you’ll enjoy all the natural wonders that have made Churchill a must-see for the adventure traveler. Tour the tundra and see massive polar bears and their adorable cubs in their natural habitat. In the summer, the Hudson Bay is the best spot on the planet to observe massive polar bears fresh off the Hudson Bay pan ice, beluga whales, with thousands of whales congregating just off the Churchill shore.
